Final Blog Post

Hey, Internet Friends.

CT 101 was a class that made me feel powerful in my own way. It made me unlock my inner creativity. I did not think that I had so many visions that I would able to complete and make a reality through Photoshop, Illustrator and a Website!

he man i have the power GIF

This class made it possible for me to express myself through my own website, on blog posts and through images. I had always been curious about Photoshop but I never got around to it. It just seemed like a lot of work, I heard that people would spend hours on Photoshop, doing what? Honestly, I don’t know, but they weren’t lying but, I’ll get back to that in a minute.

Regardless, right from the jump we started hands-on, we started with making our own GIFs through manipulated pictures on Photoshop, and making GIFs from already existing videos on GIPHY. I loved how there was two ways to do things, of course, there are endless possibilities.

The first GIF I created(I love it)!!

In Photoshop, you are in control, you can manipulate the picture however you want, as opposed to an already made video.

This was a video that I turned into a GIF

Straying away a bit, Photoshop is cool, but definitely overwhelming. At first, you’re overwhelmed with how many different options and buttons there are, sometimes I had a hard time finding my cursor on screen. At least for me, I had to get used to where most things were. While making my propaganda poster, it was as if this program were something foreign.

so many options, my head hurts

It took me 5 hours to complete this project. It wasn’t even impressive, at least for me.

Meh…I could have done better 🙁

I was so frustrated, knowing I could have probably done better. I was not sure what was going wrong. In my head I had a specific picture, but the thing on my screen was not at all what I had envisioned. At that point, I was satisfied but not happy.

In my opinion though, the good will always outweigh the bad. I mean, I made so many awesome projects, even if I “mess up” I can always start a new project. I have had so much fun already just experimenting.

In all honesty though, I never thought I would have MY OWN WEBSITE!! I’m still very hype lol. I am not 100% sure what I will do, but I want to keep track of my life in the form of blog posts, GIFs, links, images, etc. Especially, for special events in my life. It doesn’t matter if no one reads them, because I’ll read them. I don’t care if I cringe at myself, I had fun while in this class and that is all that matters.

Bye-bye, Internet Friends!

P.S. This isn’t the LAST post lol. *clickbait*
